Be confident in the gifts and talents you have. God has given you everything you need to fulfill His call on your life.

Do you believe in God?
Do you believe that God has your best interest in mind?

Are you insecure, worried, concerned, or unsure?

Me too ~ and it’s such a struggle because they all conflict, dont they?! 

This quote challenges me and my thinking because if God has the best plan for me, and God has given me everything I need, then why do I doubt myself and what I am capable of? 

In those moments of insecurity and the always-annoying “Imposter Syndrome” that plagues my everyday mind, I have to remind myself that God qualifies the called, he doesn’t call the qualified.

AMEN!

I am enough, just as I am,  because he made me this way!

You are enough, just as you are, because he made you this way!

You have everything you need to fulfill what God has called you to do in this life – so stop questioning yourself and just do it already! (She says to herself)

Through this new journey of mine, I have learned that I need to be diligent in reminding myself to trust God more than I trust my fears & doubts. 

This is a muscle I never used before – and it’s uncomfortable, to say the least.

I never thought I was good enough – not pretty enough, smart enough, driven enough. I always considered myself average and ordinary. There was nothing special about me and I certainly wasn’t going to change the world. 

But maybe … that’s not true. 

Maybe… that’s my own insecurities. 

Maybe… I am made for more than what my self-doubt had me believe.

Maybe… life is just getting started and his calling on mylife is about to reveal itself!

Maybe…life on the other side of doubt and pain and uncertainty is more than I could ever dream of?

Will you be ready?

Will you answer when he calls and will you trust that he has given you everything you need to fulfill the purpose he has for your life?

I am learning to remind myself that I am absolutely special and I will move mountains (proverbial ones, mind you. Im confident not delusional) – but not because anything about ME has changed – I certainly haven’t suddenly developed a bigger brain, superhuman strength and a smaller waist. Nope. Im just realizing that God loves me just as I am and HE made me this way! My voice is his… my words are his… my message is his…because of the gifts and talents that he has already blessed me with.

My prayer for you today is that you look in the mirror and see a perfect image created through Christ. You are enough and you are absolutely going to accomplish the mission God has for your life; as long as you tap into your faith and trust that He has given you everything you need to fulfill his purpose for your life (because he has). He loves you and you will not fail. Amen!
